UK Fund Platform Report 2009

In the first edition of the UK fund platform report, the platform industry controlled an estimated £65bn of UK fund assets (Q107). By the third quarter of 2008, this had risen to £76bn and would have been higher were it not for the global financial crisis and the sharp downturn in stock markets. Understanding how the platform industry underpins the UK fund industry is all the more important in this post-subprime era. Most European fund markets are suffering redemptions and the UK is one of just a few markets bucking the trend. So how do you maximise your business potential in such an uncertain environment?

The 2009 edition of the UK Fund Platform 2009 has all the answers. Essential reading for fund strategists with a UK focus, the UK FundPlatform Report 2009 answers this and many more questions. It provides a fresh look at the size and scope of the UK fund platform industry, its impact on the UK fund industry and includes expanded platform coverage, deeper analysis and a revised set of forecasts to 2013 and 2018.

The Asian fund markets have tripled in size over the last three years to $1.6trn, a period of primary development that is akin to Europe’s in the late nineties. To understand this and much more, get the Asian Fund Market Almanac 2008 — essential reading for fund managers with Asian ambitions. This comprehensive roadmap will help you navigate Asia’s rich and varied landscape from China’s closed and underdeveloped fund market to Taiwan’s where offshore funds dominate.

200+ pages of commentary and analysis on pan-Asian developments as well as in-depth coverage of the markets of China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
